Apple’s iCloud service encountered a blackout on Tuesday evening, causing errors with account sign-in, iCloud Mail, and web applications through iCloud.com. The issues started not long after 7 PM ET when client detailed issues started pouring in on Downdetector and across Twitter.

Apple recognized the issue on its system status site, also on its Apple Support Twitter account. Numerous clients began seeing comparative error messages, including one that says, “The application you have selected does not exist.” MacRumors announced that some other Apple services, similar to Apple Pay and the organization’s web-based app-specific password generator, were likewise encountering issues, even though Apple never recognized as much on its system status page.
